Watch Parties can be hosted by anyone willing to bring students together for the event. Parents are encouraged to host private Watch Parties for relatives, friends, and neighbors in their homes. Institutions, community leaders, or public figures like Governors, Senators, and Members of Parliament can also host public Watch Parties in accessible venues within their communities.

Hosting a Watch Party offers several benefits: Increased Engagement: Group dynamics help students stay focused and engaged as they can discuss and reflect on the sessions in real time. Cost Savings: By attending a local Watch Party, students can save on individual travel and data costs. Community Building: Watch Parties bring students together, fostering a sense of collaboration, learning, and shared experiences as they transition to adulthood. Branding & Publicity (for public hosts): Public Watch Parties offer branding opportunities for organizations, with venue branding, media exposure, and the potential to address students directly.

For a successful Watch Party, hosts should have: A large screen (or multiple screens) for clear viewing. Speakers for audio amplification. Adequate seating for all participants. Basic amenities like toilets. (Optional) Food and water for students for a publicly hosted party, though they are encouraged to bring their own.

Parents can enhance the Watch Party experience by: Setting up a comfortable viewing area with a big screen and seating. Encouraging group discussions during breaks to help students reflect on what they’ve learned. Offering snacks and refreshments to create a welcoming environment. Inviting relatives and neighbors to join, turning the event into a community experience where students can share ideas and network.

Individuals in offices like Governors, Senators, MPs, and CEOs, Chancellors, Principals, Head Teachers, Pastors and other leaders of institutions can host public Watch Parties by selecting an accessible venue like a community hall or school. They’ll need to provide the necessary equipment (screens, speakers, seating) and coordinate with event organizers. Hosting these public events can offer branding opportunities and a chance to address students directly during the festival.

To cover individualised support, branding, and coordination, a sponsorship fee of KSh 75,000 per venue is required. This includes a trained coordinator to manage the site, oversee broadcasting, and ensure smooth participation for the students.

For public Watch Parties, confirm your participation at least 14 days before the event to allow ample time for planning, promotion, and setup. We will work closely with your designated contact to ensure a smooth experience.

For public hosts, event organizers will provide custom-branded flyers, banners, and promotional materials to spread the word. They will also help coordinate with local schools and communities to ensure good attendance and engagement.

Students can join Watch Parties hosted by parents, local institutions, or community leaders. Talk to your parents about setting up a Watch Party at home, or check with local community venues to find out where public Watch Parties will be held. Joining a Watch Party is an excellent way to participate in the festival with your peers, learn from others, and stay focused throughout the event.

The Form Four Leavers Mentorship Festival & Talent Extravaganza takes place from February 25-27, 2025.

You can register online through the registration tab on the website - check the site header. Simply fill out the registration form and choose between physical or virtual attendance, then pay and you're set for the year.

You can pay anytime after registering. Early payment is encouraged to secure your spot, especially for physical attendance.

During registration, indicate your desire to showcase your talent. We will reach out to you via your parents or schools and we’ll review your presentation for possible inclusion in the festival’s showcase. Opportunities will be available to perform or present during the festival. All submissions will receive a professional review and students will be included in the talent-career group in the post summit program.
